The Tropics Shut Down the Park Rangers on the Back of Aiden Bradbury
Aiden Bradbury (Transfer Portal) was the name of the game on Thursday night. With 10 strikeouts, and only 1 hit, Bradbury was lights out. Especially when the only hit he gave up came from the first batter of the game.
The Trops 3 runs started in the first inning when Kenneth Sugi (Kaskaskia Community College) led off with a triple and was then knocked in by Kyle Van Liere’s (Butler) single.
The Trops struck again in the sixth when Max Jones (Belmont) walked and was scored by Austin Reed’s (Alabama Huntsville) double. Sugi struck again with a double of his own to score Reed.
This would be all of the runs the Tropics needed to secure the shutout and the victory due to the brilliant pitching performance of Aiden Bradbury.
