Bag Bandits have 3-1 win over Local Legends

The Bag Bandits and the Local Legends faced off in a Thursday night 7 inning matchup. The Bag Bandits took down the Local Legends 3-1.

 

Ben Whiteside (Butler) was the starting pitcher for the Bag Bandits going his longest outing of the summer. Whiteside threw 5 innings giving up 4 hits and have 5 strikeouts.

 

Dylan Drumke (Eastern Illinois) singled in the 2nd for the Bag Bandits first hit of the game.  Tanner Simpson’s (Milwaukee Area Technical College) sac fly scored Drumke for the 1st run of the game.

 

Drumke singled again in the bottom of the 4th and moved around the bases to be score the 2nd run for the Bag Bandits.

 

Kaid Muth singled in the singled in the 6th and was moved by a fielder choice from Noah Stout (Florence Darlington Technical College). Christian Williams (Michigan State) hit a groundball out RBI to score Muth in the 6th.

Cade Reynolds (IU Southeast) closed the game on the mound for the Bag Bandits throwing 2 innings giving up 2 hits 1 run and had 3 strikeouts.
