Moonshots defeat the Legends with a clutch single from Joe Schmidt 

The Moonshots break their losing streak with a win over the Local Legends on Thursday nights. The final score was 4 to 3 with the Moonshots coming back after going down early in the game.

Both teams were quiet in the 1st inning with both pitchers picking up strikeouts along the way. The Moonshots got on the board in the second inning when Grant Martin (Aquinas) reached on an error driving in Brayton Bowen (U of Indianapolis). The Legends went down in order in the bottom of the second, then then Moonshots scored another run when Carson Husmann (Bradley) drove in Brennan Holloway (Portal). The Legends got 2 runs back in the bottom of the 4th, when Jack Moroknenk (Butler) walked with the bases loaded then Jackosn Preston (IU Kokomo) doubled to score 2 runs giving them the lead. Joe Schmidt gave the Moonshots the lead and the game winning run when he singled scoring 2 runs to make the score 4 to 2.

The Moonshots are back on Sunday the 10th where they will play at Championship Park in Kokomo.
