Local Legends Pitching Stifles the Park Rangers

 The Local Legends started the Tuesday night game hot with a leadoff double by #23 Quentin Markle (Butler) and never looked back. Markle eventually scored with two-outs in the bottom half of the 1st inning after #22 Parker Harrison (Wright State) singled. 

After the Local Legends offense secured a lead, #15 Damien Wallace (Marian) never looked back. Wallace threw an absolute gem after settling in, giving the team six innings of work. In the bottom of the 4th, #5 Clay Patton (Chapman) singled to score #24 Rutger Poiry (Transfer Portal) to make it 2-0.  

The Local Legends tacked on two more runs in the 5th following an RBI single by Markle and a bases loaded walk by #3 Cody Li (University of Charleston). #8 E.J. White (Transfer Portal) slammed the door on the Park Rangers by throwing a scoreless 7th inning.
