Moonshots stay hot as the crush the Snapping Turtles with a final score of 17 to 7

 The Moonshots win again, lots of runs scored in this game. The shots ended up winning 17 to 7 run ruling the Snapping Turtles in 7 innings.

Aaron Massie (Portal) was on the mound for the Moonshots making his second start of the CSL season, he started it out by picking up 2 strikeouts in the 1st. On the other side was Garrett Dehart (Franklin) matched Massie by picking up three strikeouts in the bottom of the 1st. The Moonshots got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd, when Dehart lost his command and walked the bases loaded, then walked in 2 runs giving the Shots the lead. Clean 3rd inning for Massie, a new pitcher came in for the Turtles Nolen Kincade (Butler), he struggled right off the bat walking the bases loaded then walked in two runs, then Riggs Easterling (Louisiana Tech) singled. After another walk, Carson Husmann (Bradley) tripled to drive in 3 runs, but he was out at home trying to stretch a triple into a inside the park homerun. The Turtles responded in the top of the 4th when they put up 6 runs, including a two-run homerun from Alexander Wright (George Washington).

The Moonshots fought back in the bottom of the 5th when the drove in 4 runs including a Husmann line drive double. Clean 6th inning for both teams, but the Turtles picked up 1 run in the top of the 7th inning. The Moonshots put the game on ice in the bottom of the 7th when they run ruled the Turtles. Easterling tripled to drive in 2 runs and then scored on a wild pitch. Adam Brian (Bradley) won the game with a sac fly to center to drive in the winning run. The Moonshots move to 9 and 7 on the year winning 6 of the last 7 games. They are back on Thursday the 30th at 6:30.
